Digital Connector
In partnership with One-Economy Corporation, the Hannibal Navies Foundation is bringing technology & technology training to in-need communities. More specifically, the Digital Connectors program identifies talented young people, immerses them in technology training, and helps them build their leadership and workplace skills. Young people gain new knowledge that helps them in school, prepares them for employment, and instills the pride of knowing they had made a difference in their communities. To date, One-Economy's Digital Connectors Program has directly engaged over 2,600 youth and resulted in over 56,000 hours of community service being completed. The Digital Connectors program has six key focus areas: Arts and Digital Media, Civic Journalism, Computer Distribution and Refurbishment, Community Broadband Expansion, Youth Entrepreneurship, and Community Marketing and Training.
